13 roads, 26 bridges impassable in Cagayan Valley

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – The Police Regional Office (PRO)-2 said 13 roads and 26 bridges are impassable in Region 2 or Cagayan Valley as of Sunday, Oct. 30, due to severe tropical storm “Paeng.”

A report from PRO-2 director Brig. Gen. Steve Ludan said 41 areas in Cagayan, Isabela, and Nueva Vizcaya are flooded because of Paeng – four here, 32 in Isabela, and five in Nueva Vizcaya.

Police said 16 areas are without electricity and four without cellular communication in Nueva Vizcaya.

PRO-2 conducted 34 rescue operations in which 1,287 individuals were brought to safety.
