5 Koreans robbed in Gen. Trias, Cavite

GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite – A group of Koreans staying in a subdivision in Barangay Javalera was robbed by unidentified suspects at around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2.

Initial investigation by the Gen. Trias City Police Station (CPS) showed that the suspects forcibly entered the house occupied by the five victims.

During the heist, a suspect reportedly held one of the victims at gunpoint using an airsoft gun.

Another victim tried to fight back but was wounded using a shattered piece of mirror.

The suspects carted away a bag containing the victims' money and other valuables.

During the follow-up operation, authorities found the bag containing the stolen items and the airsoft gun near the victims' residence.

The police are currently conducting a hot pursuit operation to catch the suspects.
