Pasay City Police activates search, rescue and relief teams as tropical storm 'Paeng' intensifies
Pasay City police chief Col. Byron Tabernilla briefed the Search, Rescue and Relief (SARR) personnel and inspected their equipment to ensure their readiness in responding to emergencies that may arise due to tropical storm “Paeng”.
Tabernilla said they have coordinated with the Disaster Risk and Reduction Management for possible rescue operations especially in flood-prone areas.
He said the police is open 24 hours to respond to any incident due to “Paeng” and advised residents to call Pasay Police hotline numbers 8831-1544 and 0956-800-5277 or the DRRMO at 8551-7777 and 0905-493-9111.
