Las Piñas gov't receives 5 awards from DILG

The city government of Las Piñas received several recognitions from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) during the Urban Governance Exemplar Awards 2022 held at the Manila Hotel on Thursday, Oct. 27.

The city government was cited for having a “high functional” Anti-Drug Abuse Council, “ideal level” Local Committee on Anti Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Children, and “functional” Peace and Order Council.

Vice-Mayor April Aguilar said the city government was also recognized of its high compliance with Manila Bay Cleanup, Rehabilitation and Preservation Program. It also ranked 5th in the Fisheries Compliance Audit.
