K-pop group Tomorrow X Together successfully wraps up 'Act: Lovesick' world tour in Manila

K-pop idol group Tomorrow X Together (TXT) completed their first world tour with the finale held in Manila.

For two days, Tomorrow X Together thrilled Filipino fans at their “Act: Lovesick” concert held on Oct. 27 and 28 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Despite the inclement weather, fans trooped to the concert to witness Tomorrow X Together finish their tour.

Tomorrow X Together, composed of Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai, wrapped up the world tour with 19 concerts in 13 cities.

They captivated audiences starting in Seoul in July followed by concerts in seven US cities–Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

From there, Tomorrow X Together flew to Japan in September for the world tour in Osaka and Chiba.

In October, they went to Jakarta, Indonesia; Bangkok, Thailand; and the final leg in Manila.

As the leading act of the fourth generation, Tomorrow X Together performed a wide array of songs including “Crown,” “Can’t You See Me?,” “Run Away,” “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You),” “‘LO$ER=LOER” and “Good Boy Gone Bad.”

They also had collaborations with artists in Los Angeles. Salem Ilese joined the group to sing “PS5” and iann dior appeared to perform “Valley of Lies (feat. iann dior).”

They created a meaningful connection with fans in Asia by singing the original Japanese track “Force” and “Ring” while eliciting cheers by singing a popular song in the local music scene in Jakarta.

At the final show of “Act: Lovesick” in Manila, the Tomorrow X Together delivered a heartfelt message to the fans as the action-packed show approached the end by saying, “The first world tour was an opportunity for us five members to become a stronger team.”

“Most importantly, words cannot express how grateful we are as ‘Act: Lovesick’ would not have come true without our MOA’s love and support. Unfortunately, ‘Act: Lovesick’ has ended, but Tomorrow X Together will continue to bring great music and performance, so please look forward to our next chapter,” they said.

During the tour, Tomorrow X Together bagged their very first nomination for the MTV European Music Awards for Best Asia Act.

They also received an American Music Awards nomination for Favorite K-Pop Artist.
