CABARROGUIS, Quirino – The Department of Public Works and Higways-Region 2 said that the La Conwap Detour Road at La Conwap River on the Junction Abbag-Nagtipunan-Nueva Vizcaya Road is closed to traffic due to high water elevation from severe tropical storm “Paeng” (international name “Nalgae”).
Several traffic signs have been installed as guide for motorists.
There is no alternate route to Barangay Keat, Nagtipunan, Quirino.
All other national roads and bridges are passable and open to traffic.
Maintenance personnel and equipment are on standby for any eventuality.
