De La Salle will unwrap its second-round campaign without Evan Nelle who was meted with a one-game suspension.
Nelle was found to have committed an unsportsmanlike foul during their 87-84 overtime defeat against Adamson last Oct. 22 after he was seen trying to trip Jerom Lastimosa with 2:13 left in the first quarter.
With the development, the Archers will field an incomplete lineup when they face University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers in their 2 p.m. clash.
In a press release by the UAAP Media, the league recounted Nelle’s first breach of its rules during the opening game between La Salle and University of the Philippines with 5:04 remaining of the game against Cyril Gonzales.
On Oct. 9, the second instance occurred with 6:25 remaining in the second quarter of the rivalry match between La Salle and Ateneo this time against Forthsky Padrigao.
