CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga -- Almost 5,000 police personnel will be deployed to cover the 678 cemeteries and transport terminals all over region 3 from Oct. 29 (Saturday) until the evening of Nov. 3 (Thursday), 2022.
Motorist assistance centers with road safety marshals in major thoroughfares and secondary roads in the region will also be established to help the travelers.
All of these are for public safety and security during the observance of All Saints’ Day on Nov. 1 and All Souls’ Day on November 2, 2022, the Police Regional Office Reg. 3 said.
PRO3 Regional Director BGen. Cesar Pasiwen has directed City/Provincial Directors to continuously conduct focused operations and sustain the level of alertness.
The regional office also reminded the city and provincial directors to be vigilant and ensure maximum police presence in all places of convergence including churches.
Also, the entire Philippine National Police will be on full alert status starting Oct. 29, 2022 to Nov. 4, 2022.
