According to the Office of the Press Secretary (OPS), the meeting occurred in Malacañang on Wednesday evening, October 26.
"Kagabi, nakipagpulong si Pangulong Marcos kasama sina Housing Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar, mga opisyal ng pinansyal na mga institusyon ng pamahalaan, at ng mga nangungunang mga bangko sa bansa (President Marcos presided over a meeting last night with Housing Secretary Acuzar, representatives of GFIs, and the country’s top banks)," the OPS said in a Facebook post.
According to the OPS, Marcos convened the meeting following the World Bank's turnover of the Framework for Resilient Housing and Shelter Programs to the DHSUD.
The said framework intends to direct the coordination and identification of housing strategies and programs of national government agencies, local government units, and government partners in all phases of disaster management.
