Man shot dead in GF's house in Lucena City

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Police said a 41-year-old man was killed at the house of his girlfriend on Wednesday night, Oct. 26, in Barangay Market View here.

Investigators identified the victim as Dennis Delfin Ortega, alias “Pasak,” a resident of Barangay 8, this city.

Police said Ortega was resting in a room at about 8:50 p.m. when a man – tall, wearing a brown jacket, face mask, and white complexion – forcibly entered and shot him with a 9mm pistol.

Ortega died on the spot from four bullet wounds in different parts of the body.

The suspect fled on foot with the murder weapon.

Probers found nine fired cartridge cases for a caliber .9mm at the crime scene.

Police are thoroughly investigating the incident.
