6-8 hour water interruptions to occur in parts of QC, Marikina, Mandaluyong 


Some areas in Quezon City, Marikina City, and Mandaluyong City will experience water interruptions for around six to eight hours on Thursday, Oct. 27 to Friday, Oct. 28 due to varying maintenance operations.

According to the advisory released by Manila Water, the interruptions will occur starting from 10 p.m. on Oct. 27 to 4 a.m. on Oct. 28 in the following areas:

Quezon City

  • Parts of Barangay Duyan Duyan, Claro, and Quirino 3-A (due to line maintenance activities at Tindalo corner Anonas Streets in Barangay Duyan Duyan, Quezon City)
  • Parts of Barangay Bagumbayan, and Ugong Norte (due to interconnection operations at Domitilla Street near corner Riverside Drive in Marikina City)
  • Parts of Barangay Bagong Lipunan ng Crame (due to leak repair at 4th Avenue corner Main Avenue in Quezon City)

Mandaluyong

  • Parts of Barangay Plainview, the whole street of Barangay Maysilo, and the Corner of Martinez to Boni Avenue (due to leak repair at Maysilo Street in Mandaluyong City)


In Marikina City, the water service interruptions will begin from 10 p.m. on Oct. 27 to 6 a.m. on Oct. 28. The affected areas are as follows:

  • Parts of Marikina Heights, particularly General Ordonez Avenue, and Champaca Street (due to line meter replacement at Ordonez corner Champaca in Barangay Marikina Heights, Marikina City)
  • Parts of Barangay Nangka including Balubad, F. Manalo, Kabayani Road, Banaba, Bayabas, Twin River subdivision, Camacho Phase 1 and 2 (due to line maintenance activities at Balubad corner JP Rizal in Marikina City)

Families and individuals residing in any of the affected areas are highly advised to store an adequate water supply beforehand to prepare for the interruptions.
