Marcos picks son of former Transportation chief Tugade to lead MIAA
Malacañang has confirmed that President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. designated Jose Arturo Maddela Tugade, as the acting general manager of the Manila International Airport Authority.
Office of the Press Secretary officer-in-charge (OIC) Undersecretary Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil confirmed it to reporters on Wednesday, Oct. 26, saying "yes, he is confirmed."
Tugade is the son of former Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade.
He will replace outgoing MIAA general manager Cesar Chiong.
