Solo player wins P24.6M Lotto 6/42 jackpot; Ultra Lotto's P158M prize still up for grabs

One lucky player was able to guess the winning combination for Lotto 6/42 for a jackpot prize of P24,684,429 as per the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO)'s 9 p.m. draw on Tuesday, Oct. 25.

The lucky numbers were 28-10-30-08-01-16.

Eighty-five bettors got the second prize worth P24,000 and 2,957 won the third prize worth P800.

The game's jackpot was previously hit by a solo bettor from Davao del Sur last Oct. 8 who took home P38,200,752.40.

Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday evening.

Meanwhile, the jackpot for Ultra Lotto 6/58 worth P158,067,330.40 was not hit on the same draw.

The lucky numbers were 17-42-28-44-25-58, PCSO said in an advisory.

One player will take home P120,000 after winning the game's second prize and 436 got the third prize worth P2,000.

Moreover, the jackpot for Super Lotto 6/49 was also not won on tonight's draw.

The correct digits were 06-43-21-16-40-45 for a jackpot of P15,840,000.

According to PCSO, all lotto prizes above P10,000 are subject to 20 percent tax pursuant to Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion Law.

Prizes not claimed within one year after the draw shall be considered forfeited by Republic Act No. 1169, PCSO added.
