PRC announces changes in classification of majors for March 2023 LEPT

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Tuesday, Oct. 25 released the new classification of majors for the upcoming March 2023 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).

In an advisory, PRC said that "Physical and Biological Sciences (whether old or new curriculum) will fall under a new major called 'Sciences', while AFA and TLE (whether old or new curriculum) will be lumped under a “Technology, Livelihood, and Tech-Voc Education."

This was under Professional Regulatory Board for Professional Teachers Resolution No. 11 (s. 2022) which states the updated Table of Specifications, PRC said.

LEPT applicants who have inquiries and concerns may contact PRC's Licensure Office and Licensure Division through their official email addresses found on the commission's website.
