
The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday, Oct. 25, logged less than 1,000 Covid-19 cases, the lowest daily tally since July.
Based on the DOH Covid-19 tracker, 943 new infections were recorded on Tuesday. This number was the lowest since July 5, wherein the country recorded 832 cases.
The number of active cases nationwide or people still battling with Covid-19 was at 21,924.
Metro Manila still had the highest number of new cases in the past 14 days with 6,939.
It was followed by Calabarzon with 3,866, Central Luzon with 2,295, Western Visayas with 1,564, and Davao Region with 1,362.
The country’s total number of confirmed cases rose to 3,996,818, including 3,911,048 recoveries and 63,846 deaths.
