Just a little over a year since they debuted in the music scene, K-pop girl group Lightsum have been reorganized.
Cube Entertainment, the group’s agency, announced on Oct. 25 that members Huiyeon and Jian are leaving the group.

“First of all, we sincerely apologize for this sudden news for those fans who always send love and support to Lightsum,” it said.
It added, “After a careful discussion, we have decided to reorganize Lightsum as a 6-member group (Sangah, Chowon, Nayoung, Hina, Juhyeon, Yujeong) for their future promotions, and we will provide our unlimited support and best efforts for Lightsum to continue on with their music.”
“Also, please send support for Huiyeon and Jian who are no longer able to join,” Cube Entertainment said.
The agency did not explain why the two members are leaving Lightsum.
Lightsum debuted in June last year with the album “Vanilla.”
