10 personnel, 10 police units awarded during 121st Police Service Anniversary in PROCOR

LA TRINDAD, Benguet – Ten personnel and 10 police units in the Police Regional Office Cordillera were cited for their exemplary services to the community during the 121st Police Service Anniversary at Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad on Monday, Oct. 24.

The presentation of awards was led by Engr. Khadaffy Tanggol, regional director of the Department of Public Works and Highways - Cordillera, who served as guest of honor and speaker. He was assisted by BGen. Mafelino Bazar, regional director of PROCOR, and other members of the Command Group.

For the individual awardees, 10 uniformed and non-uniformed personnel were recognized, namely, Col. Freddie Lazona, chief of the Regional Logistics and Research Development Division (RLRDD) as the Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer (PCO) for Administration; Col Glenn Lonogan, chief of Regional Personnel and Records Management Division (RPRMD), Best Senior PCO for Operations.

Lt. Col. Cirilo Butigan, Jr., chief of the Provincial Personnel and Records Management Unit of Benguet PPO was named Best Junior PCO for Administration; Lt. Ruben Balanoy of Tabuk CPS was named Best Junior PCO for Operations.

The other awardees were Police Executive Master Sergeant Philip Emocling of RPRMD - Best Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer (PNCO) for Administration; Charity Loida Guzman of Pilar Municipal Police Station (MPS) - Best Senior PNCO for Operations; SSgt. Florence Bacani - Best Junior PNCO for Administration; SSgt. Shanybell T. Banson of Tabuk CPS - Best Junior PNCO for Operations; NUP Amelita C Icarangal of the Regional Comptrollership Division - Best NUP for Supervisory Level; and Mary Jean Bañaga of RLRDD - Best NUP for Non-Supervisory Level.

The 10 police units are Benguet Police Provincial Office - Best Police Provincial Office; Baguio City Police Office - Best City Police Office; Tabuk City Police Station (CPS) - Best City Police Station; Tuba Municipal Police Station (MPS) - Best Municipal Police Station; Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 (RMFB15) - Best Regional Mobile Force Battalion; Mountain Province Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) - Best Provincial Mobile Force Company; Baguio City Mobile Force Company (CMFC) - Best City Mobile Force Company; Regional Highway Patrol Unit (RHPU) - Best Regional Operational Support Unit and Regional Medical and Dental Unit (RMDU) - Best Regional Administrative Support Unit.

A special award was also given to 144th Special Action Company 14th Special Action Battalion, Special Action Force (144th SAC, 14th SAB, PNP-SAF).
