Turning dreams into reality p-pop solo artist Geca Morales

PPOP Rise! PPOP music has been making waves in the music scene nowadays with the rise of different PPOP groups such us SB19, BINI, BGYO, VXON, G22 and many more. We are now in the new era of OPM. But PPOP is not just for groups, we also have PPOP Solo artists to watch out for - like Geca Morales.


Geca Morales is a singer-songwriter who has numerous awards under her belt. She represented the Philippines in the first and only talent Olympics in the World – The World Championships of Performing Arts held in Long Beach, California, USA in the year 2016.

She won a Gold Medal for the Female Vocal Rap Category and Silver Medal for the Female Vocal Rock Category. She is also more popularly known as a Golden Ticket holder in the first season of Idol Philippines 2018.


Geca started to release music as an independent P-POP soloist last 2020 and is now preparing for the release of her first album entitled LDR  (Love, Dreams, Reality). This is a 7-track album that talks about 7 realities of Love. LDR revolves around the concept: “The Love in your Dreams is different from Reality”. Everyone has their own depiction of love or dream relationship, but not everything goes to plan – it turns out to be different in real life (reality).

 
Now, Reality is here. Geca has just released the 3 rd part of her trilogy. “Yan Kasi!” is Geca’s latest single from the LDR album. The music video features the DGRIND Dancers and Yani de Dios.

The music video has high praise from its viewers, being tagged as an international quality / well-produced music video that could surely level with the others.

Watch out for this independent artist, as she will surely be the next face to watch out for in the P-POP community.
