Sandro doesn't want 'lopsided' dev't for PH; here's what he means
Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos has sought the help of the country's councilors in ensuring that the Philippines would undergo equitable development under the current Marcos administration.

This, after Marcos served as guest speaker for an event of the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) last week.
During the event, the importance of the Marcos administration's projects and initiatives was raised.
"I can safely say to all of you that these projects, the implementation of these projects would not be possible without your cooperation, would not be possible without your knowledge, would not be possible without you being there as public servants jn your respective municipalities," Marcos, the House senior deputy majority leader, said in his speech.
"So I hope that we can fully utilize, in the next six years...the Philippine Councilors League, we can fully utilize our local leaders to be able to make sure that we are one, in making sure that the development of our country is not just lopsided," noted the presidential son.
"Hindi lang sa Mindanao, hindi lang sa Visayas, hindi lang sa Luzon. Kung hindi, lahat ng proyekto dito ay paninigurado para sa pag-unlad ng buong bansa (Not just in Mindanao, not just in Visayas, not just in Luzon. We must ensure that all projects will be for the progress of the entire country.
"And for that, I must ask all of you for your cooperation, for your support," Marcos said.
Also in his speech, Marcos relayed to the PCL members the "full support" of the Office of the President to the organization.
"Alam naman natin po, ang ating Pangulo ay galing LGU (local government unit), lumaki siya bilang vice governor, governor. So alam niya kung gaano kahalaga ang mga LGU (We known that our President came from the LGU, he was a former vice governor and governor. So he knows how important LGUs are)," he said.
Marcos, 28, is the son of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.
