The Department of Health (DOH) reported on Monday, Oct. 24, a total of 11,995 new Covid-19 cases reported during the past week.

In DOH's weekly case bulletin, it mentioned that daily average cases are at 1,714 which is 22 percent lower than cases from Oct. 10 to Oct. 16.
DOH also recorded four cases tagged under severe and critical Covid-19 infections. Currently there are 650 severe and critical Covid-19 admissions which consists nine percent of total Covid-19 admissions.
On the other hand, 581 or 23.1 percent out of 2,520 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds are being utilized while 5,666 or 26.4 percent out of 21,474 non-ICU beds are being used.
Meanwhile, the DOH reported 272 additional deaths due to Covid-19, 26 of which occured between Oct. 10 to Oct. 23.
Of the 272 deaths, 28 occurred in October 2022, three in September 2022, three in August 2022, one in January 2022, 186 in August 2021, 14 in July 2021, 19 in May 2021, and 18 in April 2021.
As for Covid-19 vaccination, there are currently 73,482,574 people who have been fully-vaccinated while 20,472,983 have received booster doses.
