Barangay 17 wins Electric MassKara Float and Dance-off

BACOLOD CITY – Barangay 17 was declared champion in the Electric MassKara Float and Dance-off competition at the Bacolod City Government Center (BCGC) on Saturday, Oct. 22.

Barangay 17 bested 14 other barangays and took home the P300,000 cash prize.

It also received P20,000 for winning the best float during the parade at Megaworld’s The Upper East.

First runner-up was Barangay 25 and took home P200,000. Barangay 32 was second runner-up and received P150,000.

Judges in the competition were prominent personalities Tim Yap, Hayden Kho, Dr. Vicky Belo, Alodia Gosiengfiao, and Maricris Zobel.

First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and her son William Vincent Marcos graced the event.

The competition was part of the three-day 43rd MassKara Festival here which concluded on Sunday.
