Another member of Tibatib drug group nabbed in Dasmariñas, Cavite buy-bust

DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite – Another drug group member was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Luzviminda II on Sunday, October 23.

Joint operatives of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and Dasmariñas City Police Station identified the suspect as Valentino Dela Cruz alias Bare Malawi, a 39, a member of the Tibatib drug group and listed as a high-value target.

Confiscated during the operation were two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P42,800.

The suspect is now under the custody of PDEU for processing and documentation prior to the filing of appropriate charges.

On Oct. 20, operatives collared two high-value targets and members of the Tibatib drug group, identified as Anthony V. Iglesia alias Daryl and John Mauro D. Desaville alias John John.

Police seized P102,000 worth of suspected shabu from the Oct. 20 entrapment operation.
