A supply officer of the New People's Army (NPA) voluntarily surrendered to the Baguio City Police Office on Friday, Oct. 21.

The surrenderer, “Ka Leonard,” of the Kilusang Larangang Guerilla (KLG)-Marco, yielded to Col. Francisco Bulwayan Jr., BCPO police chief.
Bulwayan accepted the formal surrender of the communist rebel listed in the quarterly Periodic Status Report on Threat Groups (PSRTG) in the Cordillera region.
Ka Leonard yielded a KG-9 9mm submachine gun, an M67 hand grenade, and five bullets.
Bulwayan said the surrenderer is under the custody of the Baguio City Intelligence Unit (CIU) for proper documentation and debriefing.
He was endorsed to the government's Enhanced Comprehensive Livelihood Integrated Program (ECLIP).
