Body of woman found floating near Navotas seashore

The body of an unidentified woman was found floating under a house at the shoreline of Tambak 1, Barangay Tanza 2 in Navotas City on Sunday morning, Oct. 23.

According to the Navotas City Police Station (NCPS), Alberto Santos, 76, reported to the officials of the said barangay after he found the lifeless body of the woman, which is already bloated and decomposing, stuck and floating under his house at around 11 a.m. The woman was about 5’2 in height.

Members of the NCPS-Scene Of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) responded to the area at around 12:45 p.m.

The body was brought to the Navotas City Hall Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office to process the free burial of the victim, police said.
