DINGRAS, Ilocos Norte -- A P150,000 reward has been offered for anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of the suspect behind the killing of SSgt. Jackson Raymundo on Thursday, Oct. 13.
The families, relatives and friends of Raymundo contributed to raise the amount and ask for help from anyone who may have witnessed the crime so that the authorities would arrive at immediate resolution of the case.
It will be remembered that in the early morning of Oct. 13, Raymundo, who was assigned at Dingras Municipal Police Station, was shot to death in Barangay Saludares, Dingras, Ilocos Norte.
The victim was placed inside the compartment of his car that was also bullet- riddled and thrown into the irrigation canal in Barangay Cali, Dingras Ilocos Norte.
The brutal killing of the victim was strongly condemned by the municipal government and the Ilocos Norte Provincial Police, now making a thorough investigation on the case and asking the public for help solve the case.
INPPO strongly believes that the community is a powerful ally in its mandate to serve and protect the people.
The police also assure that the person giving the information will be confidential and his safety will be their top priority.
