BACOLOD CITY – A suspected drug pusher was arrested and yielded shabu valued at P170,000 in a buy-bust operation in Henrietta Village, Barangay Singcang Airport here on Thursday, Oct. 20.
Police said Kimber John Garces, 28, of Barangay Singcang-Airport was nabbed after he sold suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer.
Seized from Garces were 25 grams of shabu worth P170,000 and the P500 marked money.
Major Joery Puerto, head of Police Station 8, said Garces was under the station’s drugs watchlist and was a street-level individual.
He said that Garces started as a small-time drug pusher until his customer base grew.
Puerto believes that the shabu yielded by Garces might be allocated for the MassKara Festival here.
