CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Brigadier General Cesar Pasiwen challenged the 181 newly appointed police personnel to prove their worth in joining the Philippine National Police organization.
“Today your commitment to our country as law enforcers will commence,” said Pasiwen, referring to the 181 all-female new police personnel who joined the Central Luzon force.
“You should always aim to serve the public with utmost dedication bearing the core values of our organization -- MakaDiyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan at Makabansa,” said Pasiwen in his message.
Pasiwen, regional director of Central Luzon (Region 3), administered the oath of office of the new members of the PNP in a ceremony held at Camp Captain Julian Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga on Thursday, Oct. 20.
It was followed by the ceremonial awarding of the Automated Teller Machine Cards to the appointees for their payroll.
Pasiwen said they were chosen after a stringent screening process conducted by the Regional Screening Committee on Recruitment.
The recruits will be sent to the Regional Training Center 3 in Magalang, Pampanga for the mandatory six-month of Public Safety Basic Recruit Course training and six months of Field Training Program as part of their preparation as police officers.
