Isabela prov'l gov't sportsfest returns to action after 2 years

After a lull of more than two years due to the pandemic, the sports festival of the Isabela provincial government returned to action on Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the Isabela Sports Complex in Ilagan City.
A cheerdance competition participated in by provincial government employees opened the sports festival.
Costumed and prop-wielding competing teams Yellow Lakers, Red Bulls, Blue Mavericks, Green Celtics, and Orange Suns performed cheers, yells, successions, pyramids, and other high-caliber and entertaining stunts.
The routine of each team with 20 to 25 members lasted only five minutes.
The sports committee has implemented health protocols to hold the event in the safest possible way.
