The Cagayan Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (PESU) reported 136 dengue cases with one fatality from Oct. 1 to 19.
The number is 480 cases lower compared to the 616 in September.
Cagayan has 6,152 dengue cases with nine deaths from January to Oct. 19.
Most patients recover because the disease only lasts for three to five days, especially when the patient is treated immediately.
