Mayor Casimiro "Junjun" Ynares III led city officials in distributing school bags, notebooks, and other school supplies to the fire victims of Sitio Maligaya 2 in Barangay Mambugan.
The second batch of provisions such as sleeping kids, hygiene kits, kitchen kits, and other basic necessities from the city government were also given to the more than 80 families whose houses were totally gutted by the blaze on Monday.
Ynares said basic medicines were also given to the barangay office as part of the city government’s assistance to the Sitio Maligaya 2 residents.
Aside from the provincial government, Agimat Partylist Re. Bryan Revilla, Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla, Jr., Rep. Robbie Puno and Provincial Board Member Randy Puno also donated cash to the fire victims.
