LUCENA CITY -- The Department of Education here has recognized the stakeholders’ contribution to the ‘Angat Team DepEd Lucena’ during the 2022 Education Summit on Wednesday, Oct. 19.
School Division Superintendent Hermogenes Panganiban awarded the Hall of Famers to Sanford Marketing Corporation (Savemore-Lucena branch), and the Gawad Suhay Division Stakeholder Award to SM City-Lucena.
Jojo Tabgo, president of SM Supermarket, received the award for Sanford Marketing Corp., while Engr. John Jason Terrenal, senior assistant vice-president for Operations, received the award for SM City-Lucena.
The two entities were cited for their commitment and continued support to the School Division Office (SDO-Lucena) and for consistently pursuing actions that contribute well to the improvement of the quality of education.
“We were able to realize some of our dreams through the implementation of our flagship program ‘Angat Team DepEd Lucena’ with the help of our partners and stakeholders,” said Panganiban.
Significantly, a pledge of Commitment of Partners for Batang Lucenahin was signed by the awardees, and other awardees including Radyo Pilipinas-Lucena headed by its station manager Mayeth Balquiedra and Kiwanis International represented by Christine Fransisco.
