2 drug pushers nabbed in Rodriguez, Rizal anti-drugs op

Two suspected drug pushers were collared by members of the Rizal Police Provincial Office (PPO) in a buy-bust operation in Rodriguez, Rizal.

The office of PPO director Col. Dominic Baccay identified the suspects as Randy Bańares and Bernardo Beltran, both residents of Rodriguez, Rizal.

Seized from the them during the police operation in Barangay San Jose on Wednesday, Oct. 19, were nine plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing around 35 grams, which according to the Dangerous Drugs Board matrix was worth P238,000.

The suspects were detained at the Rodriguez Police Station’s custodial facility. Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 also known as the Republic Act 9165 will be filed against them.
