PCSO conducts medical consultations, gives free medicine to Marikina indigents
Free medical consultations were conducted by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at Barangay Fortune in Marikina City.

An estimated 300 to 350 individuals, mostly children and senior citizens benefited from the initiative and they also received free medicines from the agency.
"For the past 88 years, PCSO stays committed to its mandate of performing adequate medical and health assistance to our fellow kababayan all over the country," PCSO said in a Facebook post.

Last Oct. 18, PCSO reported that 5,697 Filipinos benefited from its Medical Access Program from Oct. 10 to 14.
PCSO added that a total of P41,741,401.78 was dispensed from the said program for 606 residents in the National Capital Region, 1,288 from Northern and Central Luzon, 1,490 from Southern Tagalog and Bicol Region, 1,093 from the Visayas, and 1,220 from Mindanao.
