Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano welcomed the appointments of 10 new parish priests in the city.
Rubiano said Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula appointed the new parish priests who will serve in 10 out of 12 churches in the city.
They are Rev. Father Danilo A. Canceran, assigned to the Archdiocesan Shrine of Jesus the Way, the Truth and the Life near Mall of Asia; Rev. Father Jeffrey Jamias, Parish of Mary Comforter of the Afflicted in Maricaban; Rev. Father Salvador N. Nocomora, Parish of Our Lady of Fatima; Rev. Father Ricardo F. Valencia Jr., Parish of Our Lady of the Airways in Pildera; Rev. Father Gilbert P. Hanging, Parish of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Kalayan; Rev. Father Jaime A. Baptist and Rev. Father Paschal Ma. R. Gorgoña, assigned to the Parish of San Isidro Labrador.
The other new priests are Rev. Father Jesus Jose C. Bustillo, assigned to Parish of San Juan Nepomuceno in Malibay; Rev. Father Edison D. Escario, San Rafael Parish; Rev. Father Edgardo C. Coroza, Parish of San Roque; and Rev. Msgr. Matt M. Garcia, Parish of Sta. Clara de Montefalco.
The mayor said the priests will serve the churches for three months starting November.
