Orphanage, foundation receive P300K IPP assistance from PCSO
Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Chairman Junie E. Cua and General Manager Mel Robles dispensed checks to Saint Rita Orphanage and Ang Hortaleza Foundation Inc. worth P300,000 each as part of their Institutional Partnership Program (IPP) benefits.

In a Facebook post, PCSO said that the checks were personally received by representatives from the two organizations on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.
They were also briefed about the "liquidation reports and the utilization of the fund handed to them," said PCSO.

IPP is a financial grant that aims to extend the reach of the government's charity services through various welfare organizations.
Ang Hortaleza Foundation Inc. Managing Director Maria Aurora M. Hornedo said that the organization will specifically use the cash aid for a supplemental feeding program in Valenzuela City and Pasig City.
Meanwhile, Sister Anita Maniago from Saint Rita Orphanage expressed her gratitude for PCSO and said that the amount will greatly help the orphanage.
