MB Daily News Update: Murder raps filed vs Percy Lapid gunman, three others


Murder raps have been filed against the killers of broadcaster Percy Mabasa, or more popularly known Percy Lapid. Foremost among the accused is the admitted gunman Joel Escorial.

The Las Piñas police conducted a walk through with Escorial at the crime scene where he narrated how the ambush was carried out.

Another tropical depression has entered the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) with “Obet” being the latest weather disturbance. The state weather agency expects to raise wind signals Wednesday night or early Thursday as “Obet” approaches the country.

This, as a complete assessment of the damage caused by typhoon Neneng have yet to be completed, with the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) disclosing that P366 million in destruction was caused by the weather disturbance.
