Gerald Anderson’s brother wins at International Film Festival Manhattan

Ken Anderson, known to most as the younger brother of Gerald Anderson, just recently won an award at the International Film Festival Manhattan.

On Instagram, he shared a photo of him holding a plaque with the text: "Festival Director Award Best Short Film USA presented to: "OKAY LNG AKO" DIRECTOR KEN ANDERSON."

He wrote: "First of all what an honor to win this award. I wanna say thank you to everyone involved in the Manhattan International Film Festival. I wanna say thank you for allowing filmmakers like me to showcase their art to the world... At the end of the day, I’m just a kid from Mindanao with a dream… on to the next project."

It was in 2019 when Ken made his directorial debut via the horror film “Lola.”
