Chinese businessmen to invest in Parañaque City -- Rep. Olivarez

Chinese investors paid a courtesy visit to Parañaque City's 1st District Rep. Edwin L. Olivarez to explore possible investment and business opportunities in the city on Tuesday, Oct. 18.

The delegation was led by Mr. Zhu Wenhua, chairman of the Hunan Antong Petrochemical Co. Ltd. based in Hunan, China, and Mr. Steven Luo, chairman and managing director of ZL Machinery Philippines, Inc.

Olivarez welcomed the businessmen and assured them that the city fully appreciates new investments and trade opportunities.

He said the city hosts the country’s most dynamic business center -- the Entertainment City -- along Manila Bay and is located in the city’s 1st District which Olivarez represents.

“You are most welcome to our city, and we hope that we will have a productive and mutually beneficial relationship moving forward,” he told the Chinese investors.

City Councilor Ryan Yllana also joined Olivarez in welcoming the investors.
