3 Militia ng Bayan members yield in Central Luzon

CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Three former members of the communist Militia ng Bayan voluntarily surrendered to the police over the weekend.

Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen said that former courier “Ka Budy” surrendered to the 304th Mobile Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion while “Ka Jaime,” former member of Bayan Iskwad Tres, yielded to the Zambales police units.

The third surrendered to police in Nueva Ecija.

Surrenderers turned over various guns and bullets and a grenade.

Pasiwen encouraged other members of the Militia ng Bayan to return to the fold of law, go back to their communities, and have renewed lives.
