Five hundred thirty-one out of 1,036 examinees passed the October 2022 Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday, Oct. 18.
The date and venue of the oathtaking ceremony will be further advised, PRC said.
Jerome Ignatius Tan Garces from De La Salle University-Manila soared to the top spot of the top 10 highest places of the board exam with an average of 89.30 percent.
He was followed by Oliver Roy Prayon Mañgosing from Xavier University with 88.30 percent.
PRC also advised that the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman was the licensure exam's top-performing school with a 96.36 percent passing rate.
It was followed by UP Los Baños with an average of 92.59 percent.
"On November 28, 29 and December 1 & 2, 2022, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line," PRC noted.
Instructions for the initial registration can be found on PRC's official website.
"Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope," PRC added.
The exam was given by the Board of Chemical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and Legazpi.
