CAMP AQUINO, Tarlac City – The Northern Luzon Command reported on Tuesday, Oct. 18, that it had dismantled at least two Communist Terrorist Guerilla Fronts in their area of responsibility during the 3rd quarter.
This was announced during the Campaign Progress Review and Assessment (CPRA) attended by the different Joint Task Force Commanders, and other field commanders at the Cordillera Hall, Camp Aquino, Tarlac City on Monday, October 17.
Based on the same assessment, the NLC dismantled terrorist guerilla fronts in the West and East Front Committees.
Among their accomplishments from July 01 to September 30, 2022, was the surrendered of 25 Communist terrorist personalities. The Northern Luzon Command did carry out joint law-enforcement operations that led to the discovery of 60 assorted firearms.

The NOLCOM also assisted in the integration of 1,156 former rebels into mainstream society through the government’s Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program or ECLIP since 2018.
Nolcom Commander Lt. Gen. Ernesto C. Torres Jr directed every unit under his command to be aggressive and relentless in their campaign to end communist insurgency in their joint area of operations.
“It is our goal to end this five decades-long insurgency, they are at the tipping point and it only needs one final push,” said Torres.
“We shall not rest on our laurels and deliver our final blow against the communists,” added Torres.
“As we close this year, it is my desire to put an end to this scourge. We shall continue to be united and I will be with you throughout this phase as we perform our duties as defenders of the north,” the Nolcom commander stressed.
