The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has conducted another major revamp in a bid to further enhance the tax collection and administration programs of its field offices nationwide.
The revamp affected 40 district officers (RDO) and division heads and was implemented based on the two travel assignments signed by BIR Commissioner Lilia Catris Guillermo. The reshuffle includes rewarding performers and other BIR officials who passed the recent competency examination with transfer to key field assignments.
Most of the division chiefs who were given new assignments came from the large taxpayers service (LTS), which handles the audit of inter-related companies and other big corporations.
Among the RDOs transferred were: Dennis P. Floreza, from Naga City to Muntinglupa City; Frederico Q. Pilarca, from North Makati to South Makati; Dante E. Tan, from Butuan City to Cainta-Taytay Rizal; Renan A. Plata, from Clark Freeport Zone to North Makati, Mary Ann V. Canare, from Cainta-Taytay to Mandaluyong City; Felix M. Roy, from Muntinglupa City to Talisay, Camarines Norte.
Cynthia Y. Lobo, from Mandaluyong City to South Quezon City; Estrella L. Manalo, from Talisay, Camarines Norte to Lipa City; Estrella T. Bernaldez, from Tagbilaran City to Cebu City South; West Cavite Assistant RDO Raymund V. Ranchez to RDO of Naga City and Emily D. Singson, from assistant RDO of Binan City to RDO of San Pablo City.
Some LTS division chiefs given RDO posts were Christine M. Cardona to Batangas City; Simplicio V. Cabantac to Legaspi City and Esther Rhoda C. Formoso to San Juan City.
