Drug suspect killed in Laguna buy-bust

KAMPO HENERAL PACIANO RIZAL, Sta. Cruz, Laguna – A drug suspect was killed and his two companions were arrested while a policeman was wounded in a buy-bust operation in the City of San Pedro City, Laguna on Sunday, Oct. 16.

Police identified the fatality only as alias “Ulo” and the arrested as Mark Gregor, alias “Kapre,” and Roxy Solidad.

The wounded policeman was not identified for security purposes.

Laguna police provincial director Col. Randy Glenn Silvio said Gregor and Solidad were arrested at 12:36 a.m. after they sold suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer.

While police were processing evidence, Ulo arrived and after learning that lawmen had arrested his companions, he drew a gun and fired, wounding a member of the arresting team.

Lawmen returned fire, killing Ulo on the spot.
