Darryl Yap wants Philip Salvador, Joey Marquez to be part of sequel to 'Maid In Malacanang'

Fresh from the success of Maid In Malacanang, director Darryl Yap announced that he started to prepare for the second installment of the film entitled "Murderer or Martyr" or #Mom.

Darryl said that he was already writing the screenplay for the film.

No members of the cast have been revealed.

However, on Facebook, Darryl said that he would love to work with Philip Salvador and Joey Marquez. The controversial director shared a conversationÂ withÂ Viva Films, the production behind #MoM.

Ver was a military officer who served as the commanding officer of the Armed Forces of the Philippines during the time of former President Ferdinand Marcos.

Incidentally, Philip and Joey were both linked to actress-television host Kris Aquino, daughter of the late former President Cory Aquino and former Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., in the past.

The eldest son of Kris, Josh Aquino, is her son with Philip.

The Aquinos were the subject of Darryl's movie #MoM.

The blockbuster movie "Maid In Malacanang" tells the story of the last 72 hours of the Marcoses in the Palace. For the sequel, it will tackle the greatest accusation the Marcoses have ever received: that they involved in the murder of Ninoy Aquino.
