Body of minor with bullet wound in the head found in Nueva Vizcaya

SOLANO, Nueva Vizcaya – The body of a minor with a bullet wound in the head was found near a cemetery here on Monday, Oct. 17.

The Nueva Vizcaya Police Provincial Office said a farmer found the body on Silap Road in Barangay Roxas near a cemetery.

He reported his grim discovery to the Solano police which coordinated with the Nueva Vizcaya Forensic Unit to process the crime scene.

The victim was described as 5’1’’ in height, wearing olive green printed T-shirt, brown and black short pants, red brief, about 15 to 18 years of age, small built, and had a mushroom cut hair.

Police suspect the victim was killed somewhere and dumped in the area. No signs of struggle were seen on the victim’s body.

Police have alerted nearby towns for missing persons.
