2 minors placed under police custody after raping 17-year-old girl

Two teenage boys, 16 and 17 years old, were placed under police custody after they allegedly raped a 17-year-old girl in Quezon City on Saturday, Oct. 15.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said the incident happened in a house along Don Fabian Extension, Barangay Commonwealth in the city where the minors, the Grade 11 victim, and an 18-year-old woman engaged in a drinking spree at around 1:40 a.m. The victim went to a bedroom and slept when she was already drunk.

Police said that the victim woke up while the suspects were allegedly raping her alternately. The 18-year-old woman was also beside her but did not do anything to stop the boys.

The victim later told her uncle about the incident. They asked for help from members of the QCPD Batasan Station (PS 6) who immediately responded and took the two minors under their custody.

The 18-year-old woman was also placed under police custody, the QCPD said.
