Last spotted 335 kilometers (km) west northwest of Calayan, Cagayan or 375 km west of Basco, Batanes , Neneng has maximum sustained winds of 120 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 150 kph.

Although already outside the Philippine boundary, the weather disturbance’s trough may continue to affect several parts of the country within the forecast period.

“The trough of Neneng and the convergence of its circulation with the southwesterly winds induced by the typhoon may bring occasional rains over the western portions of Visayas, MIMAROPA, and the northern and western portions of Mindanao,” said PAGASA.

All Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals are now lifted.
