Emilio Aguinaldo College stalwart Nat Cosejo and PBA legend Allan Caidic connived down the stretch to help power Team Heroes past Team Saints, 98-95, in the second installment of the GMA-NCAA All-Star Game during the NCAA Season 98 Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.

Cosejo proved to be a thorn against Team Saints with his consistent scoring, putting up 16 points on a 7-of-11 shooting on top of seven rebounds, while Caidic showed a glimpse of his vintage gameplay, chalking up 14 points built on four triples along with six assists for Team Heroes.
Cosejo earned the All-Star Most Valuable Player honor while his teammate and GMA artist Raheel Bhyria, who had 12 points, copped the Celebrity MVP award.
Warren Bonifacio also posted a double-double performance with 14 points and 11 rebounds, Rence Nocum had 11 points, and Allen Liwag hauled 10 points and seven rebounds.
The Gilbert Malabanan-coached Team Heroes clawed its way back from eight points down bridging the payoff period and equalized at 82-all following a 10-2 run capped by a Nocum conversion off Alex Doromal's dish.
After multiple exchanges, James Kwekuteye, who paced Team Saints with 15 points and four rebounds, fired a three-pointer with less than two minutes left for another deadlock at 93-all.
But Cosejo was quick to respond and completed an and-one play to regain another three-point lead heading into the final minute, 96-93.
Gozum once again showed the way and cut the Team Saints' deficit to one only but a costly technical foul on him over Liwag during inbound spelled doom after all for the trailing squad.
The College of St. Benilde star was seen holding and attempting to get the ball from Liwag from inbound which prompted the referee to call the technical foul.
The EAC big man then scored the free throw followed by another split free throw from Renzo Navarro to ice the game before Cade Flores secured a crucial offensive rebound for the win.
PBA great Willie Miller also scored 12 points for Team Saints, with Letran tactician Bonnie Tan calling the shots, while Louie Sangalang and Kapuso celebrity chef Jose Sarasola chipped in 10 points apiece.
