FASHION PULIS: Starting the rumor

When people start noticing behavior out of the ordinary, they would tend to speculate the reason for such actions. No one can control what others would think, especially if they have a reputation.

Some time ago, Versatile Actor (VA) and Stern Talent (ST) were matched in a project that promised to show certain areas yet to be familiar to the local audience. Like a few of his contemporaries, VA has a reputation that was known to the production and of course, ST. However, such character was dismissed, as VA seemed to have changed for the better.

Then the rumors started. Allegedly, VA made sure ST would not be able to resist his charm. The rumor reached VA, who denied other than professionalism happened while the project was going on. ST laughed at the idea as well.

How then did the rumor start? Apparently, VA and ST were seen locking themselves in one room during the lull. Their actions did not go unnoticed and observers worried VA might be doing something that would make his camp nervous. Whether their actions went beyond professional conduct, only the walls of the locked room would know. VA and ST had shot down the rumor and therefore, no more of such story will be circulated.

Expensive habit

Experienced Actress (EA) has an extensive range of life’s rewards and challenges. When she started her career, she was packaged to change the course of the cinema. She was young, fresh, and attractive. Banking on her assets, EA’s projects proved to be box-office winners and critics noticed her from the beginning. EA then proceeded to establish a career that was indeed admirable.

As she was becoming popular, EA became the apple of the eye of several personalities. Subsequently, EA fell in love and gave birth to kids, who eventually ended in the same business as well. EA, however, was someone who found love as fast as the heartaches it gave her. After a breakup, EA often bounced back with a new man in record time.

Settling down enabled EA to gain familiarity with various areas of the country. As she has a famous face, locals immediately recognized her wherever she went. Unfortunately, one area she frequented shocked residents. EA was spotted too often at an alleged gambling area. The talk was that EA was a regular and losing huge amounts of money on the gaming table was not an issue with her.

The question is if EA has changed for the better these days and has shrugged off her expensive habit. Unlike then, EA now has work and visible in the showbiz arena.
