"Please be informed that SSS-accredited collecting partners may now charge a service fee for payment transactions, similar to other government agencies," SSS said.

It will take full effect on Dec. 21, 2022, and the amount of the service fee will depend on SSS' collecting agent.

Among SSS' accredited collecting partners are GCash, PayMaya, Bank of the Philippine Islands, Robinsons Bank Corporation, Security Bank Corporation – SBOL, Union Bank of the Philippines, AltPayNet, and CIS Bayad Center, Inc.
